Masters by Research and PhD proposals must relate to one or several of the program’s main research areas:
- Critical Practices: Performance, Design and the Politics of Space
- Sharing Space: Collaborative Practices in Curating, Design and Performance
- Staging the City: Performative Strategies and the Activation of Urban Space
The current academic leads are Prof Thea Brejzek and Prof Lawrence Wallen.
Suitably qualified candidates may also apply to do a Joint PhD with the Technical University Berlin under the UTS Key Technology Partner (KTP) program.
Applications are ongoing. Candidates wishing to be considered for an APA scholarship must submit the complete application, including a research proposal, to the UTS Graduate Research School.
